This wonderfully dynamic sunset was taken from the KOA park in Lyman Wyoming. It developed, then folded, so quickly I would have missed it had not my wife alerted me. Canon Elan-7, 50x1.8 lens, AF, AE Program, Fuji 200. Click for 350-kb image.

Sunsets and Sunrises come and go quickly, be ready with your favorite camera!

Birds have a tough time particularly in winter. This little Junco braved the snow for one more bite before the cold dark night set in. Their home is a large cedar tree twenty feet from their feeders. It is entertaining to watch them pop out of the tree until they are all on the branches, then take off as one for breakfast. Click for 533-kb image.

Our feathered friends have a tough time all year, but especially in winter. We enjoy their help all year long, so let's feed them generously.

Cameras come in all shapes and sizes, that's because we all want a different one. This one is one of my favorites; Voigtlander Bessa-I Medium Format 120 film, Vascar 1:4.5/105 lens. The "little brother" to it has accompanied me around the planet from 1956; a Voigtlander VITO-IIa 35mm, color-scopar 1:3.5/50 lens. They both work like charms. Click for 549-kb image of the Bessa-I.

Everyone has a favorite camera, sometimes it's difficult to decide which one is best for a certain shot. This is an old favorite.

The Soul Food from last harvest looks exceptionally good when winter arrives and the cold snow chills your bones. Potatoes, sliced ham, corn, onions, string beans, and your favorite spices. Makes a very fine old fashioned meal. Click for 200-kb image.

"Soul Food". 'Nuff Sed.
